Alcoa Electric residential and small commercial customers can get a rebate when they purchase and install a new electric water heater. Below are the rebate amounts:
New Water Heater – New Construction: $25.00 Rebate
For Replacement – Electric to Electric: $25.00 Rebate
Conversion – Gas to Electric: $100.00 Rebate

Requirements to Receive Rebates:
- Water Heater program is available for new and retrofit homes.
- Customer has account with Alcoa Electric Department.
- Customer purchases electric water heater.
- Customer can only participate once every 5 years at same residence.
- Customer provides receipt stating where it was purchased, date and amount.

- Distributor has right to a visual inspection after customer has installed water heater.
- Rebate will be mailed within 30 days after customer delivers receipt to Alcoa Electric.
- Alcoa Electric does not accept any responsibility for improper installation.
- Small commercial customers are eligible for a rebate only if they are charged at the electric rate 40 code.

What customer needs to do to receive rebate:
- Complete Application within the last 12 months of purchase. You can download the application by clicking on the following file name:
- The following must be attached to the application:
- Proof of Purchase (copy of receipt)
- Send the Application and Proof of Purchase to Alcoa by one of the following methods:
