Share the Warmth

Did you know that a program exists to provide heat for Blount County citizens in crisis situations? Share the Warmth, administered by the Blount County Community Action Agency (BCCA), provides a temporary stop-gap aid to people in very unusual situations. Unexpected medical expenses, the loss of a job, family tragedy - recipients could be just about anyone in a bad situation.

You can support this program by simply adding $1 or more to your electric bill each month. If you would like to make a one-time donation or volunteer at the agency, please contact BCCA directly at (865) 983-8411.
