Enhanced Security Deposit Program

Alcoa Electric Department and TVA understands your business’ efforts to be more competitive in today's marketplace. One way we are doing that is by offering the Enhanced Security Deposit Program, which gives qualifying businesses an alternative to tying up valuable capital.

The Enhanced Security Deposit Program is available to commercial and industrial electric customers. The program allows the waiver or refund of electric utility deposits to qualifying customers and the approval process is simple, quick, and free.

Program Participation

The program is open to creditworthy commercial and industrial customers with an average monthly billing of greater than 50 KW (or, a GSA-2 account).

Here's how it works:

1. The Commercial Account Representative works with selected business customers to prepare a one-page credit application and nomination form.
2. The Commercial Account Rep will complete the form and submit it to a third-party underwriter for review. In some cases, the underwriter may request additional financial information about your company.
3. The underwriter will evaluate the information and provide a decision to Alcoa Electric within five business days.
4. Customer participation in the program will be periodically reviewed from continuation.
