Internal Affairs

Internal Affairs Policy - The Alcoa Police Department initiated this policy April 17, 1995, to investigate the actions of an officer(s) when a complaint is made. Assurance is given to each citizen, that all complaints will be investigated and the party making the complaint will receive an answer within 15 days. Complaint forms and instructions are available at the Alcoa Police Department.

Open Door Policy - Chief of Police Ken Burge is available to any citizen who wishes to discuss a concern she or he may have. Appointments are not necessary, but are recommended. So, come on in and meet the Chief!
