Development InformationThe Development Review Team includes departmental staff representing Planning and Codes, Engineering, Electric and Fire. The team reviews site development and/or redevelopment plans, building plans, subdivision plats, annexations, zonings and rezonings, land uses and appeals. The team activities are coordinated by the Planning and Codes Department under the guidance of the Planning and Codes Director. Planning staff compiles review comments and makes recommendations to the Alcoa Regional Planning Commission, Board of Commissioners, Board of Zoning Appeals and Board of Adjustments. As an initial point of advisement, planning staff may be contacted to discuss zoning, land use, annexation and other development related issues.
