Crime Prevention - Anonymous Tips

Protect yourself and your neighborhood - if you witness a crime, report it. You can always remain anonymous.

The Alcoa Police Department offers citizens 2 methods of communicating crime tips to the department.

• One is by calling the Crime Hotline at (865) 380-4715.
• The second is by submitting your tip online by clicking here or on the Crime Tipline icon above. All information received (including your identity) will be kept strictly confidential.

Citizens are urged to help police collect crime information by using one of these methods to report such thing as suspected drug activity and houses, wanted persons and their locations, stolen item locations, traffic activity, juvenile activity, general crimes and any other matter that requiring some discretions when talking with a police officer.

Please do not use this space to report an urgent problem such as a crime in progress or as an alternative to filing an official police report. For all emergencies, immediately dial 911. For non-emergency reporting such as barking dogs, parking complaints, etc. please dial (865) 981-4111.
