Board of Zoning Appeals
Description: A three-member board of citizens appointed by the City of Alcoa Board of Commissioners. One member must be a member of the Alcoa Regional Planning Commission. The terms of appointed members shall be for three years each, with the term of one member expiring each year.
The Board of Zoning Appeals shall have the following powers:
- Administrative Review
- Special Exceptions
- Variance
Each power shall be heard and decided, based upon procedures and criteria, as set out in the Zoning Ordinance.
