Commercial Utilities

No site can be developed without utilities so be sure to confirm whether all the needed utilities (gas, electricity, water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, telecom lines) are easily accessible from your proposed location.

The City of Alcoa offers first-class utilities from its Electric and Public Works Departments. Alcoa offers electric, water, sanitary sewer, and solid waste services to businesses within the Alcoa city limits.

Call both the Alcoa Public Works & Engineering and the Alcoa Electric Departments once you have a plan in place for your facility. Public Works & Engineering can help you identify your water, wastewater, stormwater and solid waste service needs, while the Electric Department can help determine the service load for your facility. These initial contacts need to be made early in your planning process, well prior to signing up for service and paying any fees.
