General Requirements for Employment
· Must be at least 18 years of age (Police Officer candidates must be 21 years of age)
· Must have a high school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education depending on position applying
· Pre-employment physical
· Drug screen
· Nepotism Policy (no immediate family members can be employed with the City of Alcoa; i.e., parents, children, spouses)
