The City of Alcoa Police Department announced today that it will be increasing traffic safety enforcement during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Officers will especially be watching for aggressive and impaired drivers, as well as those violating seat belt and child restraint laws. These efforts are to promote a safe holiday weekend in conjunction with the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
