The City of Alcoa will end curbside leaf collection the week of January 14 - 18, 2008. All leaves to be collected should be at the street by 7:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14. Each street will receive one service during that week. After that service is delivered, any other leaves must be bagged and placed at the curb for collection by the City’s brush trucks. During the City’s Spring Leaf Pickup (March 17 through 28), the vacuum collectors will again be used for the pickup of loose leaves.
