The Alcoa Police Department will join the Tennessee Highway Patrol on Friday, July 31, 2009 in conducting commercial vehicle enforcement and inspections along Alcoa Highway and Pellissippi Parkway. This operation is being conducted during the week-long multi-state aggressive enforcement program July 26 – August 1, Take Back Our Highways Enforcement Effort.

Law Enforcement officers will be focusing on all moving and non-moving offenses committed by any vehicle with primary focus on commercial vehicles. The joint effort furthers our commitment to improving highway safety through high visibility patrol.
