The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department announced today that a portion of Middlesettlements Road will be closed on Friday, June 29, 2007 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Traffic will be maintained in one lane while exploratory boring is done in the closed lane. The boring is to determine how much rock will be encountered for a sanitary sewer crossing. The section to be closed is between Robert C. Jackson Drive and Old Mt. Tabor Road.
