The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department announced today that customers on Sam Houston School Road and DeArmond Lane will experience a disruption of water service on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. The work will begin at 9:00 a.m. and should be completed by late afternoon. The interruption of service is required to complete the final disconnections from the old water plant and its demolition. The work will remove several old lines and provide better valving to minimize future disruptions of service. The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
