The City of Alcoa will make no adjustments to the collection of residential solid waste, residential recyclables, or commercial / industrial solid waste for the Good Friday holiday on April 02, 2010. Residents collected on Friday are asked to have their collection cart to the curb Thursday evening or no later than 6:30 a.m. Friday morning. There will be two trucks collecting residential carts with plans to finish all routes by noon. The Landfill will also be open for normal operating hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on both Friday, April 02 and Saturday, April 03.
