During the weeks of Christmas and New Year holidays the following adjustments will be made for residents and commercial customers in the City of Alcoa.

Residential Garbage Collection will be adjusted as follows:

There will be no changes in residential garbage collection during the Christmas or New Year holiday weeks.

Residential Recycling will be adjusted as follows:

There will be no changes in recycling collection during the Christmas or New Year holiday weeks.

Bulky Waste and Leaf Collection will be adjusted as follows:

Residential bulky waste and leaf collections normally scheduled for Friday, December 24 will be collected on Thursday, December 23. Residential bulky waste and leaf collections normally scheduled for Friday, December 31 will be collected on Thursday, December 30, 2010. Tuesday thru Thursday routes remain unchanged.

Commercial Sanitation Collection:

There will be no changes in commercial sanitation collection during the Christmas and New Year holiday weeks.
