The City of Alcoa announced today changes to its residential garbage collection time. Beginning Tuesday, May 29, 2007, residential collection carts should be placed curbside the day before the scheduled collection day or no later than 6:30 a.m. on the regular collection day. Collections previously began at 7:00 a.m.

Notices regarding the upcoming time change are being placed on carts as a reminder for residents. The City thanks residents in advance for their understanding and cooperation during implementation of this change.
