The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department has planned a water outage from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19 for customers along the East Lincoln Road corridor from Everett High Road to East Broadway. Customers in Rock Gardens, Meadowbrook, Eagleton Village, Mitchell Hollow and Overlook may notice reduced pressure and discolored water as a result of the interruption of service. When their water service resumes, customer should let water flow for a few minutes to flush out the discolored water. The outage is necessary due to the East Broadway/Lincoln/Wildwood Road re-alignment project.
