City of Alcoa Police Chief Ken Burge announced today the recent promotion of Officer Steve Anderson to the position of Police Sergeant. Sgt. Anderson has been with the department since October 2005, most recently as a Field Training Officer. He began his law enforcement career in 1998 with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office. He and his wife, Beth, have one son, Hunter.
