The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department announced that periodic lane closures at the Hall Road / Bessemer Street intersection will occur between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 for the construction of sidewalk improvements. The closures will be relatively brief in duration. In the event of inclement weather or if work isn’t completed on Tuesday, similar closures will occur on Wednesday, October 13.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution while traveling through this work zone.
