The Alcoa and Maryville Police Departments along with the Blount County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a traffic safety saturation patrol on Friday, March 23, 2007 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Officers will enforce all moving and non-moving violations on city streets and county roads with special attention to Alcoa Highway (US 129), Pellissippi Parkway (I-140) and Lamar Alexander Parkway (U.S. 321). Officers will be paying attention to aggressive drivers, speeders, and those violating seatbelt and child restraint laws.
