G.W. Wyatt Contracting, LLC, of Jefferson City, TN today announced the reopening of Mt. Tabor Road effective Friday, August 20, 2010. Mt. Tabor Road between Middlesettlements Road and Old Mt. Tabor Road has been closed for several weeks to allow Wyatt, the Tennessee Department of Transportation contractor for the Middlesettlements Road improvements, to install drainage improvements and widen the road.

The next phase of the project will require the temporary closure of Middlesettlements Road between Mt. Tabor Road and Old Glory Road / West Hunt Road to through traffic. This closure will begin Friday, August, 20, 2010 and will require the detour of through traffic onto Mt. Tabor Road between Middlesettlements Road and Old Glory Road. This closure will be in place for about five weeks as G.W. Wyatt Contracting reconstructs the Middlesettlements Road / Mt. Tabor Road intersection. Residents along Middlesettlements Road between Old Glory Road / West Hunt Road and Mt. Tabor Road will not have direct access to Middlesettlements Road east of the Mt. Tabor Road intersection toward the Bungalow community.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution while traveling through this work zone.
