The City of Alcoa will make no adjustments to the collection of residential solid waste for the Labor Day holiday. Residential and commercial routes will run on schedule.

Recycling collection normally scheduled for Wednesday, September 5 will be collected on Thursday, September 6. Recycling collection normally scheduled for Friday, September 7 will be collected on Saturday, September 8.

The Alcoa / Maryville / Blount County Landfill will remain open on Labor Day, with regular operating hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Please call 995-2892 or 995-2998 for questions concerning the Landfill operations.
