Residential and commercial routes will be run on schedule. However, brush that is scheduled for pick up on Friday, July 4 will be collected on Thursday, July 3. Brush pick up for the remainder of the week will stay on schedule. Anyone with questions should call the Alcoa Public Works Department at 380-4815 or 380-4800.

The Alcoa/Maryville/Blount County Sanitary Landfill will close on Friday, July 4, 2008 in observance of Independence Day. The Landfill will resume normal operating hours on Saturday, July 5. Anyone with questions should call the Landfill at 995-2892 or 995-2998.
