The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department will begin sewer line replacement on Lindsey Street from Calderwood to Rankin Road on Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Lindsay Street will be closed at the intersection of Lindsay and Calderwood on Tuesday, January 11 and Wednesday, January 12. Lindsay Street will be open to local traffic from the east end up to Hardee’s and Unique Cleaners. Motorists are advised to use caution in this area.
