The City of Alcoa announced today that the Springbrook Road will be closed between E. Edison Street and Faraday Street from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 and Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Wednesday's work could extend to Thursday, June 23, 2011. The closure is necessary for the resurfacing of the roadway.

Motorists should exercise caution in the area of this work and may want to seek alternative routes when practical.

Work will be rescheduled in case of inclement weather
