The Alcoa Police Department consists of two divisions - Field Operations and Support Services under the direction of Chief David Carswell.  The Department has an authorized full-time staff of 49 personnel, which includes 41 sworn police officers and 8 non-sworn employees.  The agency occupies a police facility that is part of a Public Safety complex (Police/Fire/Municipal Court) that was built in 2001 and is located at 2020 North Wright Road.
