Waste Connections of Knoxville is the City's residential recycle contractor. Please contact Waste Connection at (865) 522-8161 for any missed collection. Single-Stream Recycling


On October 1, 2008, Waste Connections, the City’s residential recycle contractor, began accepting a wider range of acceptable items for residential curbside recycling. Waste Connections is now able to accept additional items by their switching to single-stream recycling.



Recycling Drop-Off Center Waste Oil Tank


The tank is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is located at the corner of Springbrook Rd and Edison St. This service is maintained for do-it-yourself mechanics who would like to dispose of used motor oil.
