The City of Alcoa Public Works & Engineering Department announced today that APAC Atlantic, Inc. will be milling and paving the northbound right shoulder of Alcoa Highway in preparation for the future off ramp onto Tesla Boulevard in the area north of the Hall Road split and south of Hunt Road. This work will result in the closure of the northbound right traffic lane between the hours of 9:00AM – 3:00PM on Wednesday October 25th and Thursday October 26th.
Drivers in the area should exercise caution while traveling through the construction zone. Motorists should allow extra travel time to reach their destination along this route.
