The Tennesse Department of Transportation (TDOT) informed the City of Alcoa that construction operations that began Monday, November 9, 2020, will cause intermittent lane closures on West Hunt Road. Hunt Road will be down to one lane between Whitney Street and Ambrose. This lane closure is being operated by a temporary traffic light and will be in effect for 2 – 3 weeks.
Motorists should take extra care and allow extra travel time to reach their destination when traveling through this location.
