The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has informed the City of Alcoa of scheduled maintenance and will be performing system upgrades at Alcoa’s Duncan Substation. This maintenance will require the City of Alcoa to transfer the load from the Duncan substation to various other substations on Alcoa’s system. The time frame that TVA will be working is 9:00 p.m. Saturday evening, August 5, to 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning, August 6.
