The City of Alcoa Development Services Department cautions drivers as traffic on Middlesettlements Road at the Hunters Crossing intersection is expected to change starting this week. On Tuesday, May 27, the right turn lane to Hunters Crossing will be closed for Dunkin’ Donuts Construction. This lane closure is expected to be in place for a few weeks while construction on the Dunkin’ Development property continues.
Hunters Crossing will still be accessible from the Middlesettlements intersection. All traffic will now be moved to the next available lane, with motorists able to turn into the Hunters Crossing Development. This project will also impact motorists turning left onto Middlesettlements Road as incoming traffic will now take up the left turn lane on Hunters Crossing. Please see the attached map for the new route.
Motorists should allow for additional travel time when using this route and to follow the marked signage. Please exercise caution when traveling in this area as workers will be present.
