The City of Alcoa Development Services Department informs drivers of an upcoming road closure to the access road in front of the incoming Valvoline storefront (2684 Alcoa Highway) on Wednesday, August 27 for utility infrastructure work. The road closure is expected to last one day, with the access road opening back up on Thursday, August 28. A detour route is shown in the included map.
The City of Alcoa advises motorists to allow additional travel time if using this route and to use extra caution when traveling through the area as workers will be present.
