Business Officer Supervisor
The City of Alcoa Finance Department is accepting applications for the position of Business Office Supervisor. This position involves supervising fifteen or more direct reports, overseeing customer service, interacting with the public, and managing the internal components of the Utility Business Office. Essential duties of this position include:
- Plans and organizes workloads and staff assignments for the Utility Business Office
- Examines work for exactness and conformance to policies and procedures
- Promotes and maintains a positive work environment
- Communicates plans, policies, and procedures to staff and the general public
- Assists, troubleshoots, corrects and/or requests systems analysis of system or equipment failure for payment methods
- Oversees collection of delinquent utility accounts, establishes and monitors payment schedules
This position requires significant experience in a supervisory role and requires strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills. Minimum requirements for this position are graduation from high school AND minimum of three years of supervisory experience – within a utility office environment is preferred. Associates Degree within a business major is preferred.
