In coordination with the Alcoa Highway relocation project, TDOT has notified the City of Alcoa that Concord Road will be closed at the intersection of Cusick Road for sanitary sewer infrastructure installation. The closure will start on November 10, 2025, and will remain closed until the completion of the sewer installation through the intersection. The roadway is estimated to be reopened sometime mid-January 2026. Please see attached detour map for the detour route.
The City of Alcoa advises motorists to allow additional travel time if using this route and to use extra caution when traveling through the area as workers will be present.
