The City of Alcoa will be doing a waterline upgrade at the intersection of North Wright Road and East Lincoln Road.
The city plans to start work on Tuesday, December 9, at 8:30 a.m. North Wright Road will be completely closed at the E. Lincoln Road intersection and between this intersection and the intersection of N. Wright Road and Harrison Street. Traffic for this portion of N. Wright Rd will be detoured by way of Harding Street.
The closing of N. Wright Road at the E. Lincoln Rd intersection, and along N. Wright Road between E. Lincoln Road and Harrison Street, should be completed within one day. Weather or complications may delay the length of the closure opening, and the city will provide updates as necessary.
Motorists should take extra caution as workers will be present and allow additional travel time to reach their destination when traveling through this location.
