The City of Alcoa will make no adjustments to the collection of residential solid waste, residential recyclables, or commercial / industrial solid waste for the Good Friday holiday on April 3rd.
Residents scheduled for Friday collections are asked to have their garbage cart placed at the curb no later than Thursday evening.
For the holiday week of Good Friday, brush waste will not be picked up. Brush collection will run normal routes the following week, April 7th through the 10th.
The Alcoa/Maryville/Blount County Landfill will be open with normal operating hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on both Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th.
