Entry level applicants and current Tennessee POST Certified Patrol Officers who are experienced will be considered.
Minimum qualifications include U.S. citizenship; be at least 21 years of age; HS/GED; valid Driver’s License; no felony convictions; must pass physical exam, drug screen and psychological exam and be free of any mental disorders; must complete polygraph examination, willing to have fingerprints on file with TBI; honorable military discharge only; be of good moral character as demonstrated by background investigation by Police Dept.; and, if hired, must attend 10 weeks basic police certification training unless previously certified.
