The City of Alcoa Electric Department will have a scheduled power outage at 1:00 a.m., Saturday morning, September 17th for the area serving its Blockhouse Substation. The outage is necessary to replace two, 69 kV switches and is estimated to last four hours, with power restored around 5:00 a.m. Saturday. The outage will affect 6,300 customers.
