The City of Alcoa will make the following adjustments for the 4th of July holiday:
Residential Solid Waste, Residential Recyclables, Commercial / Industrial Collection:
- No adjustments to the collection of residential recyclables or commercial / industrial solid waste for the 4th of July holiday week.
- Friday, July 3, no residential collection. Friday will be collected on Thursday, July 2.
Brush Collection:
- Tuesday brush routes will be collected on Monday, June 29.
- Wednesday brush routes will be collected on Tuesday, June 30.
- Thursday brush routes will be collected on Wednesday, July 1.
- Friday brush routes will be collected on Thursday, July 2.
Alcoa / Maryville / Blount County Landfill:
- Saturday, July 4, Closed.
- All other days open with regular operating hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:15 p.m.
