The City of Alcoa Public Works & Engineering Department crews are currently installing water lines at the intersection of E. Edison St. and Springbrook Rd. Tonight, Thursday December 10th starting at 10:00 p.m., E. Edison St. will be temporarily closed from the intersections of E. Edison, Bessemer, and Waring Streets to the intersection of Edison St. and Springbrook Rd. The closure is scheduled to last until 6:00 a.m. the following morning. During this time residents traveling along E. Edison St. should allow extra time to navigate around the closure.
