City of Alcoa Police Department Seeking Information
The City of Alcoa Police Department is investigating a possible assault of a teenage juvenile near the intersection of Perkins and Darwin Streets. On Tuesday, March 9th, 2021, at approximately 6:30 P.M., the suspect, described as a white male, approximately 6 foot tall with a brown beard, allegedly assaulted the juvenile. The alleged assault was interrupted by a couple of walkers in the area that may have also witnessed the incident. The suspect fled the scene in a black sedan.
The City of Alcoa Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance. Witnesses and homeowner’s who live in the area with exterior home security cameras, which may have captured the event, are encouraged to contact Detective Vandergriff at 865-380-4925.
