The City of Alcoa will make no adjustments to the collection of residential solid waste, residential recyclables, or commercial / industrial solid waste for the 4th of July holiday week. Residential and commercial routes will run on schedule.
The Alcoa/Maryville/Blount County Landfill will be closed for the holiday on Saturday, July 3rd but will remain open on Monday, July 5th, with regular operating hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. Please call 995-2892 or 995-2998 for questions concerning the Landfill operations.
Additionally, the City of Alcoa Municipal building will be closed on Monday, July 5th, in observance of the July 4th holiday.
