[ARCHIVED] Little River Levels Begin to Recover - Utilities Announce Lifting of Voluntary Water Conservation

The Cities of Alcoa and Maryville and Tuckaleechee Utility District alert their customers that conditions of the Little River flow are recovering due to the rainfall received earlier this week. The precipitation was very helpful; however, it does not provide long-term relief for restoring river levels. River conditions will continue to be monitored until normal levels and precipitation resumes.

Alcoa, Maryville and Tuckaleechee utilities advise their customers that voluntary conservation measures are no longer necessary. River flow and drought information is available on the U.S. Geological Water Watch website: http://waterwatch.usgs.gov/.
