The City of Alcoa Board of Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 20-493 in January of 2020 vacating, abandoning, and closing a portion of Alcoa Trail subject to conditions. The conditions of Ordinance No. 20-493 have recently been met by the applicant, officializing this closure of Alcoa Trail. This segment of Alcoa Trail is located between Clayton Drive and the Greenway public parking near Williams Mill Road. This portion of roadway will now serve as a private drive for access to and from the Clayton Bradley Academy.

On Monday, October 11, 2021, the Clayton Bradley Academy will be gating the access to this roadway. Please refer to attached map labeled Exhibit 1 for reference. This closure will not impact the Greenway public parking area.

For more information, please call (865) 380-4700 and ask to speak with Planning Director Jeremy Pearson.
