Support continues for the family of Brian Huffstetler, a City of Alcoa electric lineman who passed away after being struck by a falling tree while restoring power in the Walland area on Monday, November 28th. The City announced today the sale of specially designed apparel and a window decal.
Knowing the success Alcoa’s GoTeez Clothing Company had with their t-shirt for City of Maryville Police Officer Kenny Moats, City of Alcoa Electric Department employees Greg Best, Mike Hines and Aaron Webb approached the company about a similar shirt in Brian’s memory. With the approval of the family, GoTeez designed the “Huffy Strong” clothing and decal. The apparel consists of both long and short sleeved gray tee shirts, and hooded and crewneck gray sweatshirts. A decal supporting the memory of Brian is also available. It depicts a lineman on a pole with an American flag and the number 1431, Brian’s radio call number.
GoTeez is providing direct-sell of the “Huffy Strong” items via their website https://huffystrong.itemorder.com/. The shirts may be purchased on the website from now through December 18th. All proceeds from the sale will go to the Huffstetler family.
