The Alcoa Police Department (APD), Alcoa Fire Department (AFD), and American Medical Response (AMR) were dispatched to the American Family Urgent Care Center on Hunters Crossing at approximately 3:00 p.m. Once the departments arrived on scene, they found a vehicle inside of the main lobby of the Urgent Care Center. The front entrances of the building are damaged, but the main structure of the building is intact.
The officers also found a male patient with his arm pinned between the vehicle and the building structure. The AFD was able to unpin the male patient, who was then transported by AMR to UT Medical Center.
Both the driver and male patient are in stable condition.
