The City of Alcoa announces the opening of the roundabout at Springbrook Road and E. Edison Street. The detour route will no longer be in place for motorists, allowing all school and neighborhood traffic to flow through the new roundabout.
Contractors will continue to finish remaining items along the roadway and in the center of the roundabout. We ask all motorists to exercise caution when driving through this area and to be alert when workers are present.
Again, the detour is no longer in place, and the closed sections are now open for public and pedestrian use. Thank you to our residents and visitors for your patience during this project.
