This Saturday, March 26, at approximately 7:00 a.m., the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is planning an emergency repair at Maryville’s Stock Creek Substation. While TVA performs switching on their transmission network to de-energize the site, Alcoa Electric customers fed out of the Chandler and Proffitt Springs Substations will experience momentary outages, no more than two (2) minutes. Alcoa Electric Department issued automated phone notifications to the affected customers yesterday evening and this morning. Listed below are the affected customer neighborhoods and roads.
Proffitt Springs Substation: Louisville Rd, Proffitt Springs Rd, Hunt Rd, Old Glory, Alnwick, Andover, St. Ives, Mentor Rd, Airbase Rd
Chandler Substation: Topside Rd, Alcoa Hwy from I-140 past Topside Rd, Singleton Station Rd, Wrights Ferry Rd, Fox Hills Dr, Jones Bend Rd, Rankin Ferry Loop
