The City of Alcoa Public Works and Engineering Department has contracted the resurfacing of the following streets:
- E. Edison Street from the roundabout to North Wright Road
- North Wright Road from E. Edison Street to McArthur Road
- Patching multiple areas on Tesla Boulevard
The resurfacing is scheduled for Monday, September 26, through Friday, October 14. Inclement weather or unforeseen conditions may extend this project. Motorists should expect traffic lane shifts during construction and temporary lane closures for short periods of time.
Residents and employees of businesses in the area should exercise caution while traveling through the construction zones as workers will be present. Motorists and pedestrians along these routes should allow extra travel time to reach their destination.
